We are a family business looking back to more than a 100 years business history.
The enterprise was founded by Bernhard Michels 1887 as an animal feed and beverage company. In 1900 it was nominated as officially railway freight forwarder. In the twentieth decade the "horseshoes" had been removed and the rubber armed and chain driven trucks had been established. Railway freight forwarding and removal are the main branch of industry after giving over the business to the sons Leo and Hubert. The second world war had badly impacted the positive growth of the enterprise. Only with endurance and diligence it was possible to overcome the hard time. Since 1978 Egon Michels is the manager of the company. 1997 the company obtained certifications according to DIN ISO 9001-2000 and DIN EN 12522. In 1998 after more than a hundred years the office was moved from Waldstraße 5 to Benzstraße 2 in Gelsenkirchen-Erle.
Traditional attributes like accuracy, reliability, punctuality and flexibility had been yesterday, are today and will be in future the duty and indicator of our activities.
